I was having issues with my CLS 63 AMG and the local shop near me could not fix the issue. I'm in the Southbay area but I decided to tow my car to Costa Mesa to have Geoff work on it. Best decision I made.

Geoff and his team were very detailed and had great communication regarding the various issues he saw with the car. They took pictures and sent them along with their inspection results. After the work was completed, Geoff stayed after closing hours so I pick up my car. Even though it took me over an hour on the 405 freeway in traffic to get to the shop, I will continue to bring my car to him for service. Great customer service and attention to detail.

If you own a Mercedes or probably any European car, this is the go-to place for top-level service and maintenance. Geoff, the owner, is an expert mechanic having spent years at Mercedes.

He takes the time to explain exactly what's happening with your car, detailing what needs immediate attention, what might need fixing in the future, and what you can expect down the line. I was pleasantly surprised to get updates with pictures/videos as the service went on. It's that personal touch that makes all the difference. It's rare to find such transparency and honesty in this industry. When you bring a car to Geoff's shop he treats you like family and you can rest assured that your car will be well taken care of. Highly recommend this shop!

My... continue reading W205 C63 S started misfiring suspecting it's from a bad spark plug I took it to the stealearship and they couldn't even make time to plug the diagnosis computer for me. I called up Star Motor Werks and they were able to replace my spark plugs and coil packs the same day on a Friday with amazing service. definitely check this place out if you want quality professional service for you AMG and better value than the dealership.

As you'll see in other reviews, Geoff's clientele... continue reading are mostly AMG owners. I have a 2004 E320, which probably isn't even worth as much as the brake dust from the AMGs that Geoff typically works with.
Yet, Geoff treated me just as he would treat his other AMG customers, and provided the highest level of straightforward, personal customer service that I have ever experienced at a mechanic's.

Most importantly, Geoff's technical proficiency exceeds that of the dealer's. He accurately identified a number of discrete issues that the dealer had missed, and his advice and recommendations are, like his pricing, practical and honest.

Unlike some other highly-rated independent mechanics I've visited in the area, Geoff is not in the business of upselling any non-essential work. Instead, Geoff empathizes with and is able to view issues from the customer's perspective, even if doing so would be against his own pecuniary interest. As a result, Geoff has won my trust, and there's nowhere else I would rather take my car.
