ROLE:
As a Certified Star Motor Werks Automotive Technician specializing in Mercedes-Benz vehicles, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and safety of our customers' vehicles. You are responsible for servicing, repairing, and installing OEM and aftermarket brand parts with precision and expertise. Your in-depth knowledge of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, coupled with your proficiency in utilizing diagnostic systems such as DAS and XENTRY, enables you to diagnose and address mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
Your duties encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including conducting inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting complex automotive problems. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, you maintain meticulous records of service and repairs to uphold transparency and accountability. Your ability to listen attentively to customer concerns, coupled with your technical proficiency, allows you to deliver personalized solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform service, repair, and installation of OEM and aftermarket brand parts specifically for Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
Keep equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles, completing preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, and replacing filters.
Maintain vehicle functional condition by listening to customer complaints, conducting inspections, repairing engine failures, addressing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions, and replacing parts and components.
Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives, adjusting controls, and testing systems.
Maintain accurate vehicle records by recording service and repairs performed.
Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing preventive maintenance.
Navigate and utilize the functions of both DAS and XENTRY diagnostic systems effectively.
Uphold safety standards and regulations while performing automotive repairs and maintenance.
Collaborate with service advisors and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.
Skills/Qualifications:
Experience and expertise in servicing and repairing Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
Ability to lift heavy objects and maintain a high energy level in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant certifications and qualifications in automotive repair and maintenance.
